We didn't expect much because of other reviews. Just needed some quick meal between plays. But the food was quite impressive actually. We had pho and bun thit nuong.

This place has a nice warm meal for London standards! However the food was very mediocre! The soup was very watery and their famous curry chicken was literally not fresh.... but for a first meal after a jet lagged flight... not that bad of a deal

I find my fellow State side reviews are so funny and unjust when it comes to authentic Vietnamese food.  When someone complains there's no oyster sauce or sriracha, I automatically know they've never actually been to Vietnam because there is no such thing as oyster sauce in traditional pho and that's more of a Southern Vietnam-American style pho!

Enough about the rambling!  Onto the food!  Came here for Pho but saw Bun Bo Hue on the menu and I had to try it.  First slurp sense me to Vietnamese Bliss!  Actual Central style Bun Bo Hue like in Vietnam!!  Thank god for this meal and anyone else coming here, try their Bun Bo Hue!  Clearly this is their hidden special dish at this restaurant.  Thank me next time your here and eating it!

About me: had Pho at multiple restaurants in US cities including Boston, Philadelphia, Dallas, West Yellowstone, and Pacific Northwest; first time eating pho in London, UK.
Food: beef in the pho is way over cooked. It's very hard for me to chew. I am under 30 years old and my teeth are in good condition. If you don't mind swallowing them whole, then feel free to try them. Noodles are very hard as well, though very rare in other restaurants.
Cleanness: floor and tables are clean; stains on the utensil
Service: additional 10% service charges added to the bill for just taking your order, bringing food to the table and bringing the bill.
Summary: I wouldn't go back to this place even if I was offered free food. However, I am a tourist (you can tell from my accent and the big camera bag) and it's possible that I was being treated differently. My review is just based on my experience; it might not be representative.

I would give it 3.5 stars but am rounding up.

I went for a quick pho fix for a late lunch, and it got the job done. Their style of pho was pretty standard, with the only aberration being that the broth wasn't as flavourful as some of the better ones I've had.

Service was generally solid. The server was very polite throughout.

I quite liked the cosy ambience. Almost a bit like hole-in-the-wall and perfect for a small gathering or a quick meal on your own.
